BarrelLamps began after I became seriously ill and was unable to continue working as an art teacher. During my convalescence, I spent time designing and  illustrating and subsequently held an exhibition of my art in early 2019.  Almost as an afterthought, I began working with canvas paper and experimenting with paper cutting. The process of creating lamps took hold - I was hooked - I become a Lampaphile. This site focuses on a select range of lamps with various art techniques. Every element of the work, including illustration, stamping and cutting is completed in my studio.
